On June 14, a group of Mensans descended on Basilico New York Deli, in Fredericksburg.
The conversations flowed across many topics, including members' travels to Alaska, Amsterdam and Japan, cybersecurity, how to learn biblical Hebrew and Greek, how to turn freelance work into viable businesses, how to handle reptiles without getting injured or freaking out, and how to raise children, just to name a few. The group also discussed the recent ballot received from AMC - members had wanted to discuss this to get a better handle on it before deciding how to vote. Basilico is known for their Italian deli foods like salads, pastas, soups & stews, panini, pizzas... not to mention an impressive variety of pastries and gelato. The feedback on the food was very positive - the consensus was that Basilico was great.
